Summary:

In recent years there has been an increase in studies of the interaction between human serum proteins (such as fibrinogen and albumin) and nanoparticles (NPs), although the methodologies used do not study in depth the kinetics of this interaction. Of the different methods that can be used to study the analyte-ligand binding, one of them is the technology (Surface Plasmon Resonance), which allows the study of interactions at the molecular level. It is of great interest to see the potential that this team could have in the field of Nanotechnology and in the study of the interaction between nanomaterials and serum components.
